Company

The Restaurant Design Company was founded by designer, David Pilkenton in 2016. We are a small, focused, interior design studio located in Manhattan.

An architecturally educated & commercially certified interior designer, David works closely with his clients to craft hospitality-forward food & beverage environments.

David launched his career at Streetsense in Washington DC, designing and creating F&B concepts found in Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, The Ritz-Carlton, and Four Seasons properties. He worked on his first restaurant project in 2009 and has designed over 200 built restaurant projects in his career.
